The Utah State Library (USL) Bookmobiles Program, in partnership with the counties, provide full service mobile libraries to citizens living in rural communities including: Garfield, Kane, Piute, Iron, Sanpete, Sevier, Juab, Wayne, and Utah counties.
The Bookmobiles provide public library service to people in much of rural Utah who do not have access to a "brick and mortar" library including service to institutions such as schools, Head Start programs, and senior citizen centers.

Bookmobiles bring library services to you.
Each Bookmobile carries approximately 5,000 items that are frequently rotated with items from the headquarters library collection located in a community in each county that contracts with USL for service. Bookmobiles carry a range of items including: picture books, easy readers, non-fiction, mysteries, classics, best sellers, general fiction, westerns, romance, large print, videos, CDs, and DVDs. Interlibrary loan is available for all library card holders. Bookmobile patrons also have access to audiobooks, ebooks, streaming videos, online newspapers, online learning, auto repair, and research resources through Utah's Online Public Library.
Bookmobiles have served Utah readers since 1947. In 1959 the Utah State Library Bookmobiles Program officially began operating. The fist year we served Kane, Garfield, Piute, Sevier, and Wayne Counties.
